Description (v) Features
The SN74ALS2541DWRE4 is an advanced integrated circuit (IC) component designed to perform an array of digital functions. It belongs to the popular 74-series family of ICs and is widely used in a variety of electronic applications. One of the key features of the SN74ALS2541DWRE4 is its ability to function as a 10-bit addressable latch with three-state outputs. It consists of 10 D-type flip-flops (latches), each capable of storing a single bit of data. These flip-flops are synchronized by a common clock input, allowing simultaneous data storage. The IC component also contains an enable input, known as the chip select (CS) input. When CS is low, the data at the D input is written to the corresponding latch. This allows data to be latched and held when CS is high, effectively isolating the outputs from changing states. Another notable feature of the SN74ALS2541DWRE4 is its three-state outputs. This means that the outputs can assume one of three states: high (logic level 1), low (logic level 0), or a high-impedance state. The high-impedance state permits multiple devices to share a common bus without interfering with each other.
