This calculator is for constant voltage trickle chargers. For lithium manganese batteries (ML), the maximum charge/discharge times (battery life) is affected by the depth of discharge (DoD). The calculator estimates the life of an ML battery given the depth of discharge. The calculator uses an estimated battery load to determine the battery backup time relative to the depth of discharge.
