Overview of Electromagnetic Compatibility

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC): is an emerging comprehensive discipline and an important technical performance of electronic and electrical equipment or systems. The national standard GB/T 4365-2003 "Electromagnetic Compatibility Terms" defines electromagnetic compatibility as "the ability of a device or system to work normally in its electromagnetic environment and not cause unbearable electromagnetic disturbance to anything in the environment", that is, the coexistence state in which electronic and electrical equipment or systems can perform their respective functions well in the same electromagnetic environment. In simple terms, all kinds of equipment can work normally without interfering with each other, achieving a "compatible" state. Pay attention to the two basic aspects required by electromagnetic compatibility: in a common electromagnetic environment, it is not disturbed and does not interfere with other equipment.
