Description (v) Features
The IC component 74ACT16652DLRG4 is a 16-bit registered transceiver designed to facilitate the exchange of data between two independent buses. It is a widely used integrated circuit that offers several key features and functionalities. One notable feature of the 74ACT16652DLRG4 is its 16-bit wide bidirectional data buses. It has two sets of sixteen separate D-type flip-flops, which can store and transfer data safely between two buses. These flip-flops allow data to be latched on the low-to-high transition of the clock input (CP) signal. The IC component also has separate control pins, namely Output Enable (OE) and Direction (DIR). The OE pin, when pulled low, enables the IC's outputs and allows the bus to be used as both input and output. This feature enhances flexibility while connecting multiple ICs. The DIR pin determines the direction of data flow between the two buses. When the DIR pin is high, the data flows from bus A to bus B, and when the DIR pin is low, the data transfers from bus B to bus A. Furthermore, this IC operates on a wide voltage range from 4.5V to 5.5V, making it compatible with various applications.
