Description (v) Features
The MAX8811EEE+ is an integrated circuit (IC) component developed by Maxim Integrated. It is a highly efficient, low-noise, and low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator designed for various applications. The IC operates within a voltage supply range of 2.7V to 5.5V and delivers an output voltage as low as 0.7V. One of the key features of the MAX8811EEE+ is its high efficiency, which is achieved through a low-duty-cycle pulse-skip mode architecture. This mode significantly reduces power dissipation and extends battery life in portable devices, making it suitable for battery-powered applications. The IC can deliver a maximum continuous output current of 500mA with a low dropout voltage of approximately 250mV, ensuring stable and regulated power for connected components. The MAX8811EEE+ offers low output noise performance, ensuring interference-free operations for sensitive applications. It includes a noise bypass pin that allows users to further reduce output noise by connecting an external capacitor. This feature is particularly useful for noise-sensitive applications like audio systems or RF circuits. To protect the IC and the connected components from voltage spikes and transient events, the MAX8811EEE+ integrates several protection features.
