Description (v) Features
The AD7687BRMZ is a high-resolution, 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) manufactured by Analog Devices, Inc. It is designed specifically for applications requiring precise and accurate conversion of analog signals into digital data. The key features of the AD7687BRMZ include a maximum sampling rate of 250 kilosamples per second (ksps) and a wide input voltage range of -0.3 V to VREF+0.3 V. It operates from a single power supply of 2.7 V to 3.6 V, making it suitable for low-power applications. The ADC also offers excellent linearity with a maximum integral nonlinearity (INL) of ±2 LSBs and differential nonlinearity (DNL) of ±0.75 LSBs. This IC component comes with a multiplexed input architecture, allowing up to eight single-ended input channels or four differential channels. It includes a low noise, internal, buffered voltage reference and can also accept external reference voltages. The AD7687BRMZ supports a wide range of input signal types, including voltage, thermocouple, and resistance-based sensors. The device uses a successive approximation register (SAR) architecture for accurate data conversion. It offers a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 89 dB and low total harmonic distortion (THD) of -102 dB
