The SNJ54HC139J is a high-speed CMOS logic dual 2-to-4 line decoder/demultiplexer integrated circuit (IC) component. Manufactured by Texas Instruments, it is a part of the HC family of devices and is compatible with wide-ranging applications that require high-speed switching capabilities. This IC component has the following key features: 1. Input and Output Configuration: The SNJ54HC139J integrates two independent 2-to-4 line decoders in a single package. Each decoder has two active-LOW enable (E1, E2) inputs and two binary-coded inputs (A, B). The output lines (Y) are active-LOW and can drive either TTL or CMOS loads. 2. Fast Switching Speed: It operates at high-speeds with minimal propagation delay and low power consumption. The typical propagation delay for this device is around 5 nanoseconds, making it suitable for applications requiring fast response times. 3. Address Decoding/Demultiplexing: The IC component decodes two binary address inputs (A, B) into four mutually exclusive active-LOW outputs (Y0-Y3). Depending on the combination of inputs, one of the four output lines will be selected and activated. 4.
