The AD7572AAR03 is a high-performance 12-bit successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) manufactured by Analog Devices. It is designed specifically for low-power, high-precision applications. The IC utilizes a parallel interface, making it suitable for various industrial and instrumentation equipment. One of the key features of the AD7572AAR03 is its exceptional DC accuracy, as it provides ±0.5 LSB (least significant bit) maximum integral nonlinearity (INL) and ±0.5 LSB maximum differential nonlinearity (DNL). This level of precision ensures reliable and accurate conversion of analog signals into digital data. Furthermore, the device operates over a wide input voltage range, from -4 V to +16.5 V. It can tolerate overvoltage conditions, which protects it from accidental or sudden voltage surges. Moreover, the ADC exhibits excellent linearity and low distortion, thanks to its innovative architecture and high-quality internal components. The AD7572AAR03 offers a fast conversion rate of 16 kilosamples per second (ksps), enabling real-time data acquisition and processing. It provides a 3-wire parallel interface, simplifying integration into existing systems. The output of the ADC is obtained in straight binary format, which can be easily interpreted by most microprocessors or digital signal processors (DSPs)
