Description (v) Features
The MAX5104CEE is an integrated circuit (IC) component designed by Maxim Integrated. It is a low-power, programmable, 10-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with a serial interface. This IC is specifically designed for applications that require accurate and precise voltage generation. One of the key features of the MAX5104CEE is its low power consumption. It operates with a supply voltage ranging from 2.7V to 5.25V and consumes only 120μA of current, making it ideal for battery-powered systems and other energy-efficient applications. The IC offers a 10-bit resolution, allowing for the generation of precise voltage levels. This resolution provides 1024 discrete voltage steps, enabling the output voltage to be finely adjusted. The DAC output voltage can be programmed using a serial interface, which makes it convenient for controlling the voltage levels in applications such as instrumentation and communication systems. To optimize performance, the MAX5104CEE offers a reference voltage input called REFIO, which allows the user to set the desired reference voltage for the DAC. This feature enables precise control of the DAC's output voltage range. Another notable feature of the MAX5104CEE is its output voltage range configuration. It offers two options: unipolar and bipolar. The unipolar output allows the DAC to generate positive voltages, while the bipolar mode allows the generation of positive and negative voltages
