Description (v) Features
The MAX264ACWI is a highly integrated IC component that serves as a low-frequency, dual 5th-order switched-capacitor active filter. It offers a plethora of features that make it an ideal choice for various applications. This IC component operates in a single-supply voltage range of 3.0V to 5.25V, making it suitable for both low-power and battery-powered applications. It supports a clock frequency range of 100kHz to 2MHz. The MAX264ACWI incorporates independent clock inputs for each of its two filter sections, allowing for flexibility in application design. One of the key features of the MAX264ACWI is its low-power consumption. With an operating current of just 3mA, this IC component is optimized for power-sensitive applications. Additionally, it offers a power-down mode, effectively reducing the current consumption to a mere 50µA when the device is not in use. The MAX264ACWI consists of two individually programmable filter blocks, each having fifth-order Butterworth, low-pass, band-pass, or high-pass filter responses. These programmable filters have voltage-controlled cutoff frequencies, enabling precise control over the filtering characteristics. Furthermore, the cutoff frequency of each filter section can be independently adjusted over a wide range. Another noteworthy feature of the MAX264ACWI is its high dynamic range. It provides a total harmonic distortion (THD) of less than 1% over a significant range of input signal levels
