The MAX231CPD is a high-speed, low-power RS-232 transceiver integrated circuit (IC) component designed for bi-directional communication between a microprocessor-based controller and serial devices. It provides ±15kV human body model (HBM) ESD protection for all pins, making it highly resistant to static electricity.
