LM358 is a widely used dual operational amplifier (Operational Amplifier) integrated circuit. It contains two independent high-gain operational amplifiers and can operate in single or dual power supply mode. It is suitable for a variety of analog applications, such as signal amplification, filters, comparators, integrators and other circuit designs that require amplification functions.
lm358 application notes
lm358 ic Main features:
- Dual op amp: LM358 has two independent operational amplifiers inside, which can process two signal channels simultaneously.
- Wide power supply range:
Single power supply mode: 3V to 32V
Dual power supply mode: ±1.5V to ±16V
- Low power consumption: Relatively low power consumption, very suitable for battery-powered applications.
- Open-loop gain: Up to 100dB open-loop gain.
- Low input bias current: Typical value is 45nA.
- Wide bandwidth: Unity gain bandwidth is typically 1 MHz.
- Output swing close to ground: The output voltage can be close to the negative end of the power supply (i.e. zero voltage), which is particularly suitable for single power supply operation.
lm358 chip Pin function:
OUT A: Output of op amp A.
IN A-: Inverting input of op amp A.
IN A+: Non-inverting input of op amp A.
Vee: Negative power supply (ground or negative voltage).
IN B+: Non-inverting input of op amp B.
IN B-: Inverting input of op amp B.
OUT B: Output of op amp B.
Vcc: Positive power supply.
